The Grand Slam temporary in-ground fencing with pockets from Cover Sports is ideal for baseball or softball facilities looking for an outfield fence that can be taken down once the season ends. This 471' temporary fencing for a 300' home run distance is constructed with a durable, knitted polyethylene mesh, with flexible PVC poles mounted in the ground, allowing this fencing to withstand winds. Simply use the auger to create a hole in the ground, slide the pole through the sewn-in pocket and insert the pole into the ground. This fencing is available in both 5’ and 10’ pole spacing. The 5’ pole interval spacing is recommended for windier climates, as there is less sagging between the poles and more grounded points. Add optional ground sleeves (sold separately) for a semi-permanent installation that provides increased fence stability. Easily remove the fencing for ground maintenance and field versatility.
