The package includes the Jugs BP1 softball only pitching machine that allows you to set the digital speed you desire by simply turning a knob. With a pitch speed up to 70 MPH, the BP1 can throw risers, fastballs, and drops. The swivel design base provides 360 degree movement for fly balls, pop ups, and ground balls. As the official softball machine of USA softball, this machine is ideal for high schools, youth leagues, and college play. The batting cage frame and net measures 55’L x 12’W x 12’H and comes with a backdrop and pitcher’s trainer that display the strike zone. The included twisted knotted black polyethylene netting is easily hung on the cage frame and is designed specifically for baseball and softball use. Knotted nets have a higher overall strength and durability rating making them superior for direct impact sports like baseball and softball. Twisted netting has a higher abrasion resistance than braided, because twisted has less surface area than braided. The polyethylene netting doesn’t absorb water, making it perfect for wet or humid hot climates. No permanent construction is required for the batting cage frame which 2 people can set up in less than 1 hour. The cage quickly dismantles simply unhooking the turnbuckles to lower entire cage to the ground. The included Back-Saver™ ball basket saves you from bending over while loading the machine with the yellow dimpled softballs.
