First Team Slam Adjustable Basketball Hoop

The Slam basketball hoop by First Team is an in-ground basketball system that offers a unique combination of adjustability, durability and affordability. The Slam's Quik-Pin™ rim height adjustment mechanism easily adjusts the goal height from 7' to 10' in 6" increments. To adjust the goal height, simply pull the pin located on the back of the unit, lift the adjustment handle to the desired rim height, replace the pin and you’re ready for action. The Slam’s spring aided arm system makes the rim height adjustment effortless. The Slam unit is designed with 24" of overhang (the distance from the front of the post to the front of the backboard set at 10'). The Slam uses a solid 4'x4' single-piece steel post that is buried 36” below the playing surface. An optional bolt down baseplate for the post is available for added stability. A ground sleeve option can also be purchased separately to make the post removable. Optional all-weather Velcro® wrap-around post padding for added safety can also be purchased separately. The Slam basketball hoop system comes equipped with a super-strength flex goal with a nylon net and mounting hardware. The flex goal is direct mounted to the backboard frame, eliminating backboard stress. The Slam system offers a variety of backboard options to choose from, including 54" or 60" widths and clear acrylic or tempered glass. The pole, backboard, and rim of the Slam system are backed by a lifetime superior warranty that covers all basketball activity for as long as you own the unit, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
