The Bison Ultimate Jr. basketball hoop with a steel rectangular backboard is a great option for playgrounds and recreational areas. The 5" square, 1/8" wall steel pole buries 3' into the ground with a 4" square extension arm, placing the face of the backboard 3' from the front surface of the pole and providing a stable support for the backboard. Constructed out of 12 gauge steel, the backboard’s edges are safety rolled to remove sharp edges and provide extra rigidity for a long-lasting system. The heavy-duty 5/8" steel flex rim is directly mounted through the 3'9" x 5' rectangular steel backboard into the extension arm, eliminating virtually all stress during aggressive playground play. The rim is finished with a durable orange powder coat and comes complete with a strong nylon net. 15° deflection and auto-return ensure plenty of rebounds during every game.
