The Champro Optimus baseball catcher's set includes a helmet, chest protector, and leg guards for baseball catchers looking for a quality set that can last seasons at a price that won't break the bank. Available in youth, intermediate, and adult sizes, this catcher's kit is ideal for players of all ages and for those in youth or recreational leagues. The catcher's helmet is Champro's Boss, a hockey-style ABS-shelled helmet with a matte finish. Featuring multi-density pad lining, this helmet has a snug and secure fit with added technology for air ventilation, anti-microbial protection, and moisture-wicking. This combination of features increases airflow and keeps the pad lining dry.
The Optimus Champion Plus chest protector is SEI-certified and meets NOCSAE standards for Commotio Cordis. The full chest width, six-piece cardiac pad protects without sacrificing mobility so catchers can focus on the play at hand. The cardiac pad is backed with mesh for increased breathability and airflow. The chest protector has memory foam ab padding ideal for blocking and retrieving. To round out the impressive features is a new and improved Tri-Flex harness that increases comfort and security. Intermediate and youth sizes come with a detachable groin protector.
The Optimus Pro leg guard rounds out the set. With a high-performance polyethylene shin plate, the material offers increased flexibility while capitalizing on durability without adding additional weight. A cantilever lining system helps minimize impact transference to the shin for increased protection. This catcher's leg guard has vent holes to allow airflow during play to help keep the catcher cool with so much gear on. There is also a contoured, adjustable liner with DRI-GEAR and BIO-FRESH technology to keep padding free of moisture and antimicrobial. When paired together, this Optimus baseball catcher's set is a great way for catchers to stay protected on the field while maximizing performance and comfort at an economical price.
